Bits & Pieces...

Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint on it you can.

Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool, or you go out into the ocean.

It's never to late to be who you might have been.

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.

Character is doing what's right when nobody is looking.

A Child's life is like a piece of paper on which every person leaves a mark.

The game of life is the game of boomerangs. Our thoughts, deeds and words return to us sooner or later, with astounding accuracy.

Flexible people never get bent out of shape!

You take people as far as they will go, not as far as you would like them to go.

Help others get ahead. You will always stand taller with someone else on your shoulders.

Success isn't permanent, and failure isn't fatal.

We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.

Only you can be yourself. No one else is qualified for the job.

SO TRUE - everyone do your best to remember that - what takes just a second to fly out of your mouth can not be taken back and will remain with someone for longer then you will ever remember saying it. Same with actions - not only the bad - I have things in my life that touched my heart in ways the people who were doing them can not even image - they are clear pictures in my head years and years later - I do my best to remind the people of the events and sometimes they can't believe I remembered it.

That is another thing - let people know when they have touched you for the better - we spend so much time telling people what hurt us - why not turn it around and tell them what touched us.
